The High Road

Designed to follow the natural curvature of the land, this boomerang-shaped home sits atop a hillside, offering sweeping 180-degree views. On the western side, high walls with clerestory windows provide a buffer from the busy adjacent road while balancing light throughout the day. On the eastern side, double-insulated, floor-to-ceiling windows open the interior to panoramic city and canyon views, while overflow parking and a covered entrance ensure easy guest access.

Inside, the home is divided into northern and southern wings, connected by a central, insulated covered porch that overlooks the eastern horizon. The northern wing houses a communal living space with a command-center kitchen, along with a secluded master suite featuring a seating area, spa-like double vanity and shower, and private deck access. To the south, a gallery hallway leads to three guest suites, a private den, and a kitchenette, all opening to a covered deck—perfect for poolside lounging. Built with durable, elemental materials like white oak and Venetian plaster, this home is designed to remain anchored to its surroundings for decades.
